The P420 offers 3 fixed polar patterns, being dual-capsule, and ships with an impressive hard shell case and shock-mount. The AKG P420 is exactly the same as the AKG P220 but with a multi pattern capsule. This microphone is ideal for recording vocals, acoustic instruments and percussion. Buy 2 and you can use the patterns to record in MS mode for a wide stereo field.
