Digital Recorders

Digital recorders don’t require a computer to record. Digital recorders instead record directly to internal hard-drives, or flash media such as SD cards. Generally digital recorders are an all-in-one solution featuring microphone inputs, AD convertors and sometimes FX and processing tools for editing and mixing. Portable handheld digital recorders will often have in-built condenser microphones too.
