Z-67 Silver

ADK Microphones Z-67 Multi-Pattern Tube Condenser Microphone

The Z-67 from ADK microphones, is a handmade premium large diaphragm valve condenser microphone, derivative of the Neumann U-67 tube microphone. The ADK Z-67 features 9 selectable polar patterns, and has been tailored to sonically re-create the early 60's recording vibe. A very mellow sounding microphone, with scooped sibilance and nasally frequencies. The Z-67 offers slightly more presence the Z-47.

The Z-Mod-67 has the early 60’s vibe. Almost imperceptibly Mellow. Scoops nasal, sibilance issues in a subtle way. More presence than the 47, and a bit more air than the 47, however the tailored top-end makes it smoother than either the 12 or 251 designs. Very Beatle-esque!
