Bock Audio iFET Large-diaphragm Dual Mode Condenser FET Microphone

The Bock Audio iFET is a Dual Mode large diaphragm condenser FET studio microphone. Essentially the iFET has a single capsule and transformer, that is shared & powered by two separate microphone amplifiers. A unique design, there is a switch on the front of the body to select between the two modes - V & I. The vocal mode offers better high frequency response, has a higher proximity effect and higher sensitivity. The instrumental setting allows for a Higher SPL, less proximity effect and lower sensitivity. Like all Bock Audio products, the iFET is hand built in the USA.


    • Bock Audio iFET PRODUCT FEATURES:

      The IFET is a phantom-powered FET condenser mic designed to capture the high SPL handling and sound of the classic FET47. The unique sonic signature of this mic is not easily replaced by modern microphone alternatives. To increase the value and versatility of the IFET, Bock added a second set of FET electronics for a second “sound”, accessed via a switch.
