Marantz PMD561 Handheld Solid-State Recorder

The Marantz PMD561 is a handheld professional solid state portable recorder, with 24bit/96kHz recording capabilities. The Marantz PMD561 records directly to SD/SDHC media cards via inbuilt stereo microphones, or attach your own microphones to the XLR / TRS mic/line inputs on the bottom. Phantom power can be provided to these inputs for third party condenser microphones. The unit runs off 4 x AA batteries, or you can use the included power supply. Other key features include, password protection for the PMD561 itself, and a USB 2.0 port for transferring files to a computer.
