Slate Media Technology Raven MTi2 Multi-Touch Production Console

The Slate Raven MTi2 follows up from Slate Media Technology's original MTi design and features a 27-inch touch-screen for hands-on DAW control. The MTi2 makes use of the RAVEN 3.0 protocol. What makes the Slate Raven so good? It completely changes the way you mix, edits and record your music! 

FEATURES:

There's nothing like leaning over and simply dragging a fader on a screen without having to use an input device like a mouse. You are the input device. The screen is multi-touch which means you can control more than one parameter at a time. You can therefore use both hands on the screen controlling 2 completely different faders at once. It's exactly what you want from a DAW controller. It may take a week or so to re-train your brain but when it clicks there's no going back.

In the past decade, the technological revolution has transformed audio into a medium that is produced and delivered in the digital domain. Powerful Digital Audio Workstations have transferred the entire recording studio into a virtual environment where all elements of the studio appear conveniently on a computer screen. But what has been lacking with the modern digital studio, is the same powerful workflow as what was accomplished on tactile mixing consoles.  So back in 2012, Slate Media Technology came up with a solution. If the entire production studio was on a computer screen, why not turn the actual computer screen INTO a world-class control surface? The RAVEN MTi2 is a state-of-the-art 27” Multi-Touch Production Console featuring a state-of-the-art multi-touch panel and the powerful new RAVEN 3.0 Control Software.  Using the RAVEN MTi2, users have access to multi-touch faders, pans, sends, and tweak plugins with their fingers as if they were real hardware.  The RAVEN 3.0 Control Software also features a user-customizable multifunction TOOLBAR and the award-winning BATCH COMMAND SYSTEM, a powerful automated task application that will save audio engineers hours per day by cutting out tedious technical tasks.

With the introduction of RAVEN 3.0, we have taken the already game-changing RAVEN software to a new level by adding compatibility with EVERY MAJOR DAW.

RAVEN 3.0 now adds customized multi-touch control of Ableton Live, Cubase/Nuendo, Digital Performer, Logic Pro X, Protools 10-12, and Studio One V3 on Mac as well as our first PC compatibility for Protools 10-12. The 3.0 update demonstrates exactly why the RAVEN is so groundbreaking: through real time interaction we have the ability to code our way to any fix or enhancement, and RAVEN has continued to evolve

• The Raven MTi ships with an outboard power supply. Should the user need to replace it, the specs are as follows:

• 12 volt 3.3 amp

• 2.1mm x 5.5mm barrel connector, center pin positive.
