Universal Audio have maintained the option of 3 x rack-mountable units, but have significantly re-configured the I/O and operational specs in the Apollo 8.  The most significant being completely re-designed next-generation A/D and D/A convertors, and using the Thunderbolt protocol exclusively. Apollo 8 is an elegant update to one of the world’s most popular professional audio interfaces — delivering enhanced sound with the tone, feel, and flow of analog recording.
