XVIVE AT3 Audio Test Ultra-Dual Unit

AT-3

A full-featured, upgraded, split-design professional audio tester based on the AT-2, the AT-3 offers enhanced battery life, and a range of powerful functions. Having separate units for male and female connections allows you to test both ends of long cable’s simultaneously while keeping them in place very handy for installations.

The AT-3 is XVIVE’s ultimate audio testing tool, consisting of a female XLR unit and a male XLR unit. Each unit can operate independently, providing maximum flexibility for a variety of testing applications.

The male XLR unit features signal generation (1 kHz tone or pink noise), output via both XLR and 1/4" connectors, and phantom power detection. The female XLR unit offers XLR input Level metering, signal generation (output to built-in speaker and 1/8" headphone jack), and audio input monitoring.

The upgraded cable testing function supports split-unit long-distance testing of XLR or OMX cable’s (one unit on each end of the cables), greatly improving testing accuracy and efficiency. Battery capacity has also been significantly increased-from the original 340 mAh to 500 mAh and 700 mAh-for extended operation time.

The AT-3 is Ideal for testing powered speakers, effect pedals, cables, IO boxes, IEM systems, mixers, and more, making it a perfect tool for audio engineers and live sound professionals.

1. SIGNAL GENERATOR:

Outputs a 1 kHz sine wave or pink noise audio signal through male XLR, 1/4", and 1/8" connectors, with three output level options: -10 dB, -20 dB, and -40 dB.

2. XLR CABLE TESTER:

Checks whether all three pins of the XLR cable are properly connected and supports split-unit remote testing (one unit on each end) for quick troubleshooting and diagnosis of long cables.

3. XLR INPUT METERING:

Measures the input volume level of the female XLR connector.

4. PHANTOM POWER CHECK:

Tests the output voltage of the phantom power and ensures both pins are functioning properly.

5. HEADPHONE AND SPEAKER MONITORING:

When an audio source is connected to the female XLR or 1/4" input, you can monitor the signal with headphones or speakers via the 1/8" headphone jack.

6. INDEPENDENT OPERATION:

The AT-3M unit transmits sine wave or pink noise signals via the XLR-M or 1/4" audio send output, while the AT-3F unit receives audio signals through the XLR-F or 1/4" input and routes them to headphones or a speaker for monitoring—enabling fully independent and flexible audio testing.
