AKG D112 MKII Professional Dynamic bass Drum Microphone
The AKG D112 MKII Professional Dynamic bass Drum Microphone is the latest version of the fabulous "egg" mic for kick drum. The D112 MKII also works well with bass guitar cabinets on stage and in the studio, trombones and low brass instruments. The MKII features a hum-compensation coil, minimising unwanted noise during tracking sessions. The other key difference is a newly designed mount offering greater flexibility for mic placement. The D112 MKII can still handle up to 160dB SPL without any distortion. The diaphragm has a very low resonance frequency to maintain a solid and powerful response below 100Hz. A narrow band presence boost at 4kHz punches through dense mixes with forceful impact - no additional EQ needed!
