270 degrees of off-axis rejection allows you to confidently capture loud, impactful sounds live without the need to replace toms or retrack guitars due to bleed.

ULTRA-HIGH SPL AND DYNAMIC RANGE

Capable of withstanding a staggering 135dB of SPL without internal padding, the LS-308 is nearly impossible to overload. Capture the loudest sound sources reserved for dynamic microphones with ease.

DARK BY DESIGN

Creating a microphone with such strong off-axis rejection had a unique timbral side-effect -- a sound similar to a ribbon microphone, but without the fragility. This classic timbre can be further shaped with two analog filters that allow for immediate sound-shaping right at the source.

PREMIUM COMPONENTS

The LS-308 signal path is hand-populated with high resolution, low distortion polypropylene capacitors and resistors, a US made low-noise FET, and a custom wound output transformer. The result is a massively impactful sound with unmatched isolation and SPL handing.
