Pace ilok 3 USB License Dongle

Use the ilok 3 USB dongle for software licensing of products like Pro Tools, Antares, Synthogy, Izotope and Eastwest. The iLok smart key is a proprietary USB dongle that holds licenses for software protected by PACE Anti-Piracy. The iLok allows your customers to carry multiple licenses on a portable device. The iLok is cross platform and in conjunction with the iLok License Manager application offers many benefits to your customers.

  The iLok License Manager application allows your customers to register their iLoks and manage their iLok licenses from any internet-enabled computer. Optional Zero Downtime™ coverage ensures your customers are never without access to your product. The iLok.com website allows your customer read-only access to the current state of their iLoks and licenses.
  
  Here's how it works

  Once a license is delivered to an iLok account, your user simply downloads the license to their iLok. It's as simple as dragging and dropping. The license is stored safely and securely inside the solid-state iLok smart key and can then be used to provide authorization for protected software to run on any computer where that software is installed.

  Licenses may be delivered to your customer's iLok account by various methods including using our simple and secure PACE web portal, delivering licenses with PACE Authorization Codes, and making the license deposits using the PACE APIs.

  The iLok smart key enables your customers to carry all of their licenses with them wherever they go, storing all of their licenses on a single key instead of on their computers.   In order to use an iLok, you'll need at least 3 things:
  • Your iLok :)
  • A license for the iLok-protected software you want to run (found in your iLok account)
  • The software that is iLok protected (usually a download from the Publisher's or retailer's website, we do not host those on this site)

  Note on legacy use:

  If you need to use your iLok on an older system, you can still use your iLok to authorize your iLok-protected software, you'll just need to add any new licenses to your iLok using iLok License Manager on a computer that meets the system requirements.
