The supercharged cloud lifter model CLZ provides new tonal possibilities with continually variable input impedance via a single control (the Vari-Z knob) with a range of 150 ohms to 15k ohms. The Vari-Z knob provides complete control of the character of your microphone by providing the ability to precisely match the ideal manufactured specified impedance of dynamic, tube, and ribbon mics.

The Vari-z knob allows fine-tuning of the Balance between voltage and current, the CLZ can be used to change the balance of power between the mic and the preamp allowing for tonal sculpting at the most basic electric level, making the CLZ a uniquely powerful and versatile tool that can be used to get the most out of any mic locker
