Building on the features that everyone loves from the GENX-1, the GENX-2 elevates the experience with an octave selection switch, multi-function expression strip, and added external control.
You can now play the GENX-2 with a full-size keyboard, sequencer, or even a modular setup. Create punchy bass sounds, screaming leads, and spacey bleeps and bloops. It’s perfect for both studio sessions and on-the-go creativity. Not only can the GENX-2 be controlled by the studio, but it can also control the studio with its feature-packed CV and Gate integration. All the features of the loved GENX-1 brought into the next generation.
PLAYABILITY: Play the full two octave keyboard by touching the tip of the stylus onto the metal surface. The finger sensitive expression strip above the keyboard can be used to change the filter cut-off, pitch or modulation. PORTABILITY: Take this synth anywhere. It’s battery operated with a built in speaker CONNECTIVITY: Using the two 3.5mm mini jack sockets on the right hand side of the GENX-2 plug in headphones or connect it to a stereo, amp or DAW. Alternatively, apply filter CUTOFF, RESONANCE, DELAY and LFO effects to the output from phones, synthesizers and the entire Stylophone range
ENHANCED CONNECTIVITY: Use an external keyboard or DAW to control the GENX-2 or use the GENX-2 to control external synthesizers using the CV In/ Out connectivity via five 3.5mm jack sockets on the rear panel ENRICH YOUR SOUND: Create punchy bass sounds, screaming leads, and spacey bleeps and bloops using the LFO (with square and triangle waves), Low pass filter (cutoff/resonance) and Envelope (attack/decay) controls. ANALOG DELAY: Add space to your sound with delay time, feedback and level. ADDED FEATURES: Use the 2 Sub octave and Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) switches to enrich your sound by adding additional frequencies to your source sound.
