Neumann, have always had an excellent reputation in the world of studio monitoring and now they have headphones to match.
Veteran experts may tell you that closed-back headphones sound are no good for mixing as they sound too “boxy.” That’s true. And then the NDH 20 happened. Neumann’s engineers took great care to rid the NDH 20 of those nasty resonances in the mid-band in order to create a smooth and “honest” sound image. The NDH 20 is a dream come true: reliable studio-grade monitoring in a handy package.
Linear Sound, Classy Look
The NDH 20’s newly designed 38 mm drivers with high-gauss neodymium magnets ensure high sensitivity and low distortion. In other words, you won’t need a dedicated headphone amplifier; the NDH 20 sounds just as great on mobile devices such as laptop computers. Want to mix your new record on the night train to Paris? Now you can! The NDH 20’s excellent isolation makes sure you won’t be disturbed by snoring passengers, nor will sound spill wake them up.
Thanks to its over-ear construction and large memory-foam cushions the NDH 20 feels extremely comfortable. Its entire construction is true Neumann quality: The headband is made of flexible spring steel while the ear cup covers are machined from lightweight aluminum. For easy transportation, the NDH 20 is foldable. A great sounding, classy looking headphone for music production … and listening to your favorite tracks!
