NAMM 2017: Adam Announce New S Series Monitors.

The new S series from Adam are now their flagship range of near and mid-field studio speakers. Like Adam’s SX series, the H and V in the model name, represent speakers that have been optimised for Horizontal or vertical placement. The S3H and S5H, feature dual low-frequency drivers, compared with the S3V and S5V that are both a standard active 3-way design. The smallest of the S series is the S2V, which is a 2-way near-field monitor with a 7-inch woofer.


Key developments in the S series, include newly designed tweeters, mid and low frequency drivers across the series, and a new DSP feature for setting cross-over points and multi-speaker systems. Also, each speaker in the S series feature both analog and digital inputs. Adam suggest that these new design features have increased the overall frequency response; enhancing the bottom-end and creating more detail in the mid-frequencies too. No news yet on availability and pricing in Australia, but we will let you know once they arrive!
