Version 1.1 introduces a subtle yet impactful lift in the low-frequency range. We've focused on a slight boost around the port tuning and baffle step, which translates to improved depth, clarity, and precision in critical listening environments. For those with multi-speaker setups, firmware version 1.1 also ensures better alignment with our latest models, the Core 5 and Core Sub Compact. To maintain consistent level balance and optimal performance across all your Dynaudio Core monitors, we strongly recommend updating all compatible Core models in your system to this new firmware. How to Update

To update your Core monitors:

1. 1 – Download the Dynaudio Update Tool, which includes both the new firmware v1.1 (03.02.20) and the original v1.0 (01.01.22).
2. 2 – You can find them by scrolling to the bottom of any Core product page on the Dynaudio website and selecting the Firmware button, or directly via this link: dynaudio.com/core-tool.

Note: the original firmware is also included in the above download. If you prefer the original response, just reload the included v1.0 (01.01.22) file again.

Free firmware update stickers

Firmware v1.1 includes new gain structures that aren’t reflected in the existing rear-panel SPL switch labels.

To keep your system properly gain-staged, Dynaudio offers free rear panel stickers that show the updated input sensitivity.

• If you stick with the original firmware, no stickers are needed.

• If you install v1.1, we recommend applying the stickers to reflect the new gain structure.
