AKG K702 Professional Reference Open Around-Ear Studio Headphones

Very happy with these purchases (especially as they were on sale!). AKG K702 is replacing my very old Audio-Technica ATH911. Very good in the day but happy to replace them. The K702 sounds great and is open, over-ear so really good for the (humble) home studio and probably real studios too. The AKG C314 is replacing the trusty Shure SM58s (though I’ll probably use them for contrast now and then). Also, very happy with this mic. It’s a condensor with 4 polar patters and sounds great. Comes with a nice grill and holder to protect it (not that I will swing it around on stage anytime soon). Low noise. Good build. I’m happy with it. (shame about the source material but at least is sounds better than it did before (sorry Shure))!). I’ve purchased the above, a great Native Instruments keyboard S61 and software from Soundseasy. Always happy with the result. They are my go to place for any new things to go into the “studio."
