MOTU Micro Express 4x6 USB MIDI Interface

The MOTU Micro Express is a 4 x 6 MIDI interface designed for any Mac and Windows computer enabled with USB. Based on MOTU’s technology that landed them accolades - The Micro Express is a smaller, less expensive version of the MOTU MIDI Express XT, offering many of the same features. However, the Micro Express has the added advantage of being bus-powered and compact. The Micro Express offers 4 x MIDI inputs and 6 X MIDI outputs - 96 MIDI channels in total. Like the MIDI Express XT, the included ClockWorks™ software allows extensive merging, muting, and routing with the device, and along with SMPTE time code synchronization features, the MOTU Micro Express is an extremely cultivated MIDI interface given its size and price.

• Stripes SMPTE time code in all frame rates (23.976*, 24, 25, 29.97 drops, 29.97 non-drop, 30)

• Converts MIDI Time Code to SMPTE time code

• SMPTE "Jam Sync" with adjustable freewheeling for dropout-free sync

• Supports MIDI Machine Control - serves as either an MMC master or slave, distributes MMC transport commands to all other MMC devices
