    Neve AMS 4081 Quad Mic Preamp

    The Neve AMS 4081 Quad Mic Preamp, is a compact four channel mic-pre module that houses 4 x of the legendary Neve 1081 preamps! The 4081 can be digitally controlled via the Neve AMS Remote Control software for Mac/Windows systems. That allows you to save and recall your settings. The 4081 has an optional digital expansion card, that provides a 4 channel A/D convertor via AES or FireWire. In FireWire mode, up to 4 units can be linked together creating 16 channels of Neve front end. Neve also make a rack-mounting kit, that can house either one or two 4081 units.
