The RODE NTG4 is a directional condenser microphone with a super-cardioid polar pattern. The NTG4 Builds on the success of the NTG1 from RODE - a high-quality cost effective microphone for camera mounting and location recording. The newer NTG4 includes digital settings that recall last used once the mic is not in use. Unlike the NTG4+ and NTG2, the NTG4 does not include battery operation, and requires phantom power to operate.
