New Tascam Portable Audio Recorders with WIFI have arrived!
Take high resolution location recording in the cloud with the latest wifi-enabled portable audio recorders from TASCAM.
We've just received the first shipment of 2 new TASCAM portable audio recorder models and I can say we are really excited about these as they introduce some truly unique features to help you make pristine location recordings.
TASCAM has taken handheld recording to an entire new level with the DR-44WL and DR-22WL, which now include built-in Wi-Fi to communicate with a free app for iOS and Android smartphones to facilitate remote recording.
The app provides control, file transfer, and audio streaming to your smartphone. Start recording while on-stage or from anywhere in the room, while setting trim levels and check meters to make sure the transport is running.
At the end of a performance, transfer recordings to your phone and instantly upload them to SoundCloud, Facebook, even email directly to fans.
Of course both units are battery operated for ultimate portability.

TASCAM has implemented a set of stereo condenser microphones which are arranged in a true XY pattern for ideal stereo imaging. A eight-position Scene Dial selects recording settings for typical situations, or you can set it to full manual for greater control.
Included in the DR-22WL is a Wi-Fi function for controlling its transport and transferring files to a smartphone or computer. A free app for iOS and Android controls the transport and transfers files for instant upload.

The TASCAM DR-44WL expands on the DR-22WL by offering 4 track recording with selectable multi-track mono and stereo track configurations and multi-track recording mode, external XLR Mic with Phantom power and Line Level TRS Jack Inputs. Two locking XLR inputs feed TASCAM's latest microphone preamp design, with the lowest noise level and richest sound available in a portable recorder.
It also features a pair of high-quality built-in stereo condenser microphones, updated with a new XY pattern and high-performance mic components.
With rugged construction, great sound quality, and TASCAM's famed ease of use, the DR-44WL is the ultimate portable recorder for anyone from beginning musicians to experienced professionals.
Where the DR-22WL uses MicroSD recording media, the DR-44WL uses full size SD cards.
Included are a number of accessories including a microSD adapter, a fur windscreen, Mic stand adapter, Shoe mount adapter, Soft case and AC power adapter.
