The R 2 MK2 from Golden Age Projects is a passive ribbon microphone design, with a much darker sonic character than the R 1 series. The R2 is a high quality vintage style ribbon microphone with some modern developments. It offers the unique and natural sound that has been available in classical microphones that are still used to make high quality recordings today after almost 70 years.

Golden Age Project R 2 MKII PRODUCT FEATURES:
The R 2 MkII is quite different from the R 1 series of mics. It features a ribbon transducer with a shorter and more narrow ribbon. It is darker sounding than the R 1 series since the higher frequencies roll off earlier.
The R 2 MkII will do wonders with both clean and distorted electrical guitar, with brass instruments and more. It is delivered with a metal shock mount. -
