Mojave MA-1000 Large-diaphragm Multipattern Tube Condenser Microphone
The Mojave MA-1000 is a boutique variable polar pattern valve condenser microphone, designed by Grammy award winning microphone extraordinaire David Royer. The MA-1000 features an ELA M251-style capsule, old-stock 5840 tube, and an all new transformer that has been custom designed by Coast Magnetics. Sonically, the MA-1000 is characterised by transparency and space in the tops, detail in the mid frequencies, and a dominant low frequency response. The MA-1000 will rival any serious large diaphragm studio microphone, and is an excellent point of difference to the usual suspects.
