Roland Goes Modular
What is first noticeable about the new Modules from Roland is that they can be used either in a stand-alone mode as a tabletop device or in Eurorack format. This is a great move by Roland as not everyone has caught the Eurorack bug and just wants to buy a single module to connect up to their AIRA units VIA AIRA link.

Modal 008 - The Dark Lord!
The Dark lord has arrived! Following on from the success of the outstanding 002 hybrid synth, Modal Electronics have now entered the fully analogue arena with the inclusion of the 008 all analog, 8 voice polyphonic synth. This keyboard looks like a beast - visually and sonically. Modal are a zero compromise company. Everything has to be right. The look, the build and the sound. Again they have hit the ball out of the park and I can't wait to get my hands on this incredible synth! Stay tuned.
