Apogee Electronics was founded in 1985 by audio engineer Bruce Jackson, digital electronics designer Christof Heidelberger and Soundcraft USA president Betty Bennett. The company initially made a name for itself by developing special anti-aliasing filters that solved many early problems associated with digital audio. Apogee’s advanced audio conversion systems pushed existing technological boundaries within the industry, and the company became established as a key innovator in the field of pro audio.

Today, the audio converters found inside Apogee audio interfaces such as Symphony I/0, Big Ben, Ensemble, and Duet are all considered the reference standard in the audio industry. Now with portable products such as Groove, JAM 96k and MiC 96k that are designed especially for Apple iOS devices, Apogee’s high-end sound quality can be enjoyed by more people, and in more places!

All Apogee products are manufactured to strict standards in the U.S.A. Sound Distribution handles the distribution of all Apogee products within Australia.
