Neve AMS 8051 Surround Compressor
The Neve AMS 8051 is a hand-made analogue compressor, designed for surround sound applications. Key features of the 8051 are a total of 6 x transformer balanced audio paths, complemented by two side chains and a key input. The 8051 has been based on the circuits and technology found in the Neve AMS 2254 compressor, and the 33609 stereo compressor. With pliant side chain options, included filters and trim feature, the 8051 delivers the Neve sound and features to surround projects in a single unit.
